IN THE PEZENAS AREA

Wine tours in Languedoc are one of my specialties and are a very popular activity. These are for visitors who like wine and are looking for educational and fun day or ½ day wine tours in the South of France. I offer standard options, or a bespoked 'VIP' tour if you want something different.

Would you like a truly authentic and fun South of France experience during your stay?

You will see the Languedoc countryside and vineyards, learn about wine, visit beautiful estates, and even have lunch and do a short historical tour if you want!

The tours are in English and can be for either one hour, a half-day, a whole day, or I offer these as part of a week-long stay at one of our villas.

I arrange everything so that you get a warm welcome and a guide who is ready for you. If you don't take the transport option I provide a detailed map and my guides meet you at each winery.

Clients who want to be transported can have this at an extra charge.

My tours are based on a maximum of 10 people on each tour, but normally about 4-6 go on each tour. If you are a couple or on your own, you will join like-minded people!

These short visits to great, historic Languedoc vineyards are very special and you will definitely have an educational and fun time!

MESSAGE FROM ME, SARA:

I run wine tours and a variety of other day-trips, activities, and events here in the Languedoc.

I also own accommodation for visitors to the Languedoc - we own two villas here of which one is a holiday rental villa and the other is a traditional 'Bed & Breakfast' villa. They both have pools and are located in Pezenas, Languedoc-Roussillon.

In my early years here, many guests asked me about Languedoc activities and I was happy to help with recommendations.

Until 2011, though, I couldn't recommend a wine tour or wine-tasting dinner, because the quality of what was offered wasn't suitable. Too many 'wine tours' simply consisted of visits to a wine estate where you would be given a tasting and then expected to buy wine.

I wanted clients to have more than that.

Finally, my husband and I decided to set up wine tours ourselves. We have friends who own local chateaux and wine estates and we started talking to them. With them we have been able to formulate some packages for guests interested in wine, or who are just interested in having a nice day out at Languedoc vineyards and chateaux!

My Languedoc wine tours are now very popular and I hope you find these wine activities interesting!!
